I worked on this thing for TOO LONG. I went to bed and my brain was pounding in my head I was so tired. My roommate came home when I went to bed, so I knew I was going to bed late, haha.... I couldn't even read Harry Potter before I went to bed! NOOOOO! *sigh* Nerdy moment.
I'm still trying to improve my digital painting, but you can't if you don't practice, so bear with me!
I know her shoulder is a bit jacked up, but I actually like the piece...for now. See ya later alligator.
Updated the lips, what do you think? too shiny?
I haven't really had any work that I really felt worth posting. Even now, I'm not up to par with my standards. But I have some sketchbook and digital work, so I'll go ahead and post some stuff during the weekend and what not.
The above drawing is a digital piece taken from my sketchbook, but it isn't finished, but I took out the lines and I kinda like it...it's weird.
Kappa Pi Who are You? Portrait. I'm not really sure but I'll try and figure it out...
This one started off as a doodle for a more serious drawing, but I ended up liking it and it transformed into this little devil. I wanted it to look messy, and it does so there.
I have been working on this for-since 3 pm today. I fell asleep -due to a severe caffeine high that led to a catastrophic crash and burn- at my computer and my room mate came in my room and thought I was dead...but I wasn't, obviously. So, I hope you enjoy. My computer almost crashed, but it didn't, YAY! This is probably the best work I've done in photoshop. I used a drawing (that you can see in the post that precedes this one) as the base.
Thank you Make It Work for posting the pictures http://www.makeitworkfashion.blogspot.com/
For the first photo, I really love the flow and the folds of the dress. In the second, I am a big fan of the chunky sweater and paired with the jacket, plus the pants make a great combo, though not everyone one can wear this look. It looks great on the model though. It reminds me of a causal schoolboy assemble. Third photo, what can I say but "FEATHERS". The muted tone of the forth dress is broken up by the shinier silk patterning.
